Dr. Monir Morgan
My two doctorates in Counselor Education and Supervision(Marriage and Family Specialty) and Education have afforded me skillsets that I use in my daily practice as a teacher educator, counselor educator, counselor, public speaker, trainer, trainer of trainers, and church servant. Additionally, as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, and an Approved Clinical Supervisor with a Certificate in Drug & Alcohol Counseling, I’ve been able to broaden the populations in which I serve, including individuals, couples, marriagefamilies, and those with addictions.
I specialize in clients of all ages: children, adolescents, adults, and elders. My wide-ranging practice draws from a number of different treatment approaches including: person-centered, solution-focused brief therapy, CBT, psychodynamic, internal family systems, and play therapy. I have extensive experience in treating clients with the following issues: anxiety & depression, ADHD, oppositional defiance, anger management, autism spectrum disorders, chronic pain, developmental disorders, intellectual disabilities, family conflicts, grief and loss, infidelity, life coaching, OCD, parenting, relationship problems, PTSD and trauma.
